A great turn out of slum experiences of Jamal for that staggering money. He is a genius? He cheated? It is written? Turns out that "it's written". Made me remember the Arab word "maktub" as used by Coelho in The Alchemist. In the film, "it is written" is "destiny". Spoken like an aphorism. Well destiny it is then for Jamal's series of unfortunate and turn-out-to-be-fortunate events. It is written. Makes sense.
